What happens to the data you leave here

This notice covers one thing: the waitlist form on this site. The site has no accounts, no advertising, no third-party analytics scripts and no embedded third-party content of any kind.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is {{CONTROLLER_NAME}}, a private individual (not a company), at{{CONTROLLER_ADDRESS}}. Contact:hello@impositorium.com.

What is collected

When you submit the waitlist form, exactly these values are stored:

• the email address you type, lower-cased;
• your answer to “what do you need most” (preflight,imposition or both);
• the fact that you ticked the consent box, a version tag for the consent wording you agreed to, and the time your submission reached the server;
• how you reached this page — the campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium,utm_campaign), the address of the page that linked here if there was one, the path you first landed on, and a single word derived from those describing the channel (for exampleorganic, direct or outreach).

That is the complete list. It is enforced technically, not just promised: the database rules reject any record that carries a field outside it.

Your IP address is not stored, no cookie is set, no advertising or analytics service is embedded, and no profile is built about you.

Stored on your device

Two small values are kept in your browser and never sent anywhere on their own:

• the campaign tags described above, held for the duration of the browser session so that a signup made after some browsing still carries the link you originally arrived from — they leave your device only if you submit the form;
• your light/dark choice, if you use the theme switch, so the page does not flip back on your next visit.

Neither is a cookie and neither is sent to a server. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes both.

Why, and on what legal basis

Your email is used for one purpose: to tell you once Impositorium is available to try. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box on the form. The answer to the scope question and the link-source information are used in aggregate, to decide what to build first and to see which channels people arrive from.

Where it goes, and who else sees it

The data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, part of Google Firebase, which acts as a processor on the controller's behalf. The database is located in theeurope-west1 (Belgium) region.

Technically, your browser sends the record to Google's servers directly when you press the button — there is no intermediate server of ours in between. That means Google necessarily handles the technical details of that one connection, including your IP address, in the course of running the service. Nothing in that connection is recorded by us, and no such value is written into your record.

Nobody else receives any of it. It is never sold, rented or passed to advertisers. Nothing on this page — no font, no script, no image — is loaded from a third party, so simply reading this site contacts no one but the host serving it.

How long it is kept

Waitlist entries are kept until Impositorium launches and the launch notice has been sent, or until you ask us to delete your data — whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can withdraw your consent at any time, and you can ask for a copy of your data, for it to be corrected, or for it to be deleted. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it. Write tohello@impositorium.com — one email is enough, no form and no justification needed, and the entry will be deleted.

Records cannot be read back, changed or deleted from the browser by anyone, including you: the database rules permit creating a record and nothing else. That is deliberate — it is what stops the waitlist being scraped or tampered with. Erasure and access requests are therefore handled by the controller at the address above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority.
